Organic Honey
Always having a visionary and entrepreneurial look, Apidouro saw the organic potential production in the extent and quality of the Brazilian flora. This way, making the opportunity in conquering a new consumer market around the world its main objective.
Apidouro began in 2008 the certification process for the production and handling of organic honey, adapting to the necessary requirements in agreement with international legislation. A complex, thorough and audited process. This guarantees the quality and origin of its product.
Producing Regions
Apidouro operates in the principal honey producing regions of Brazil. Located in the following Brazilian States: Bahia, Ceará, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Piauí, Rio Grande Sul and São Paulo.
This way, we are able to operate in different productive regions, according to the type of flowering and climatic season, meeting, this way the needs of our clients throughout the year.
Management
In the organic production, from the management of the swarm, the location of the apiaries, the honeycomb wax used in the frames, the honey extraction location; all is done following international norms and legislation, in order to guarantee the organic quality of the honey produced, avoiding this way, any kind of contamination.
Organic Certification
Apidouro is audited and certified by IBD Certifications. The biggest certifier of organic products in Latin America and the only Brazilian certifier of organic products certified by IFOAM (International Market), ISO/IEC 17065 (European Market), USDA/NOP (North American Market), Demeter (Market) and approved to be used with the SISORG seal (Brazilian Market), which makes its certificate globally accepted.
