About LGPD Portal
This is a space to provide the necessary transparency regarding the use of personal data at Apidouro, as well as to keep users informed about legal updates related to privacy and data protection. The LGPD Portal is part of our Privacy and Data Protection Governance Program, helping Apidouro consolidate a data protection culture, enable the management and access to documents on the subject, and facilitate Apidouro's communication with data subjects and authorities.
LGPD Dictionary
LGPD: Law that regulates the processing of personal data, including in digital media, by natural persons or legal entities, whether public or private, with the aim of protecting fundamental rights to freedom, privacy, and the free development of the natural person's personality.
Personal data: any information related to a natural person, identified or identifiable, such as name, CPF (Brazilian tax ID), address, job title, email, and phone number.
Sensitive personal data: are personal data that deserve a higher level of concern, as they are related to more intimate aspects of individuals. According to LGPD, sensitive personal data includes data of racial or ethnic origin, religious belief, political opinion, membership in a trade union or religious, philosophical, or political organization, health or sexual life-related data, genetic or biometric data.
Data subject: the natural person to whom personal data that is subject to processing refers, in other words, all of us.
Data processing: any operation performed with personal data, such as collection, access, sharing, storage, disposal, reproduction, etc.
Data controller: a natural person or legal entity that makes decisions and determines the purposes of data processing, in this case, Apidouro.
Processor: a natural person or legal entity that processes personal data on behalf of the Controller, following their instructions for data processing. The controller and processor are the agents responsible for processing personal data.
What is LGPD?
The General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13.709/18) - LGPD, is a regulation in force since 2020, governing how personal data is handled by companies and organizations in Brazil. Its primary objective is to ensure the privacy and security of information, promoting responsible data management.
LGPD seeks to empower individuals by giving them more control over their personal information and establishing clear guidelines for organizations that deal with such data. Apidouro, demonstrating its strong commitment to ensuring the security and protection of the data of its users, customers, partners, and employees, maintains compliance with the provisions of LGPD and aims to maintain a relationship of trust with all the data subjects who trust the company.
